Churrasco (Galician barbecue)
The churrasco is an essential dish in Vigo: you’ll find numerous grill restaurants where you can try this delicious dish, or use the barbecues in our forest parks to make your own traditional grilled meat. It’s made with Galician veal, pork, or both.
Marinade for the churrasco: The only secret to a proper churrasco is a good marinade prepared the night before; add parsley, white wine, garlic and coarse salt to the meat. A good cut of ribs and an outdoor grill will do the rest.
