From Porto
If you want to travel to Vigo by car from Porto, take the A-3 motorway, which links Porto, Lisbon and Braga with the Spanish border and then take AP-9 and A-55, which will take you straight to the centre of Vigo.
If you want to travel by train, the international Porto-Vigo line has trains leaving the Portuguese city twice a day, as well as from Vigo to Porto. This option is well worthwhile, since it offers impressive views of the Miño River landscape.
If you want to take a bus, the companies providing bus services from Porto to Vigo are Autna, Alsa and Flixbus. The bus ride takes two hours and is also very enjoyable. You will realize you’re in Galicia when you cross the border over the Miño River, where we highlight the fabulous iron Eiffel style bridge.
