The boat trips across the Vigo estuary seen in the Spanish movie “Mondays in the Sun” are still a daily event. Thanks to these regular ferry services, you don’t need a yacht or to come on a cruise to enjoy the charm of the Vigo estuary. This estuary transport service is historic; in the 18th century, mandates were dictated to regulate traffic in the estuary.
Every thirty minutes, there’s a boat that will take you across the Vigo estuary: to the fishing villages of O Morrazo, like Moaña or Cangas, in an entertaining 15 to 20 minute ride.
In summer and Easter, there are also boat trips to the Cíes Islands, with daily routes from mid-May to the end of September.
