Wines with Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin are produced in this area, made from the Albariño grape. This particular variety of grape is small, with a concentrated juice, highly aromatic and fruity, and can be combined with other native varieties, like the treixadura or godello. These are the best white wines to pair with fish and seafood.
Be sure to try the other four Galician denomination wines in Vigo: Ribeiro, Valdeorras, Ribeira Sacra and Monterrei. You’ll discover traditionally made wines with great character that are exported to half the world.
