Music bands

Vigo’s traditional music bands are an institution. Vigo really loves music! We have a dozen bands brought together in the Popular Music Band Federation of Vigo, an annual Christmas event attended by Galicia bands and countless traditional orchestras from all over the city.

Vigo’s music bands have a clear common denominator, their neighbourhood or parish. Their cultural and social centres are the ones who promote and maintain the bands:
